Bryan Kainrath
Bryan Kainrath is currently the COO of the Space Workforce Institute (SWI). Bryan will support the operations of SWI, which is dedicated to developing standards and alternative pathways to ensure the industry maintains a competent and resilient space workforce.
Previously, Bryan was the Founder and President of the Mission Critical Global Alliance (MCGA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement and protection of mission-critical operations. Under his leadership, he coordinated and unified efforts to skill professionals in these vital fields, ensuring the secure and safe operation of environments that safeguard public health, safety, and economic security. He also played a pivotal role in developing and disseminating educational and informational resources that cultivate new generations of professionals and enhance the effectiveness of the existing workforce.
Bryan recently served as the Chief Growth Officer at Global Skills Exchange (GSX). At GSX, he was responsible for a comprehensive suite of services designed to elevate organizational performance through learning and development, data analytics, human capital strategy, talent and workforce development, and the creation and implementation of learning and credentialing solutions.
Prior to his tenure at GSX, Bryan spent 14 years as Vice President of Products and Operations at the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). During his tenure, he was instrumental in bringing several new products to market, launching CompTIA’s inaugural continuing education program, and establishing a for-profit consulting subsidiary that helped association members develop successful training and certification programs. Bryan was also responsible for creating Examplify, a for-profit entity under CompTIA. Examplify sold certification services to members and others desiring to develop their own vendor specific programs. Bryan was also one of the original founders of the IT Certification Council (ITCC).
Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Benedictine University, an MBA from Northern Illinois University, and a Project Management Certificate from Loyola University.
